tanzraumberlin – the magazine for the tanzcard is a bimonthly print magazine covering all dance events in Berlin and Potsdam.

Featuring articles by renowned authors and artists on current topics in contemporary dance, ballet, and performance art, tanzraumberlin offers an overview of key developments in Berlin’s dance scene. In addition to essays, interviews, and artist profiles, tanzraumberlin provides brief previews of upcoming events and lists all dance performances at Berlin venues in a comprehensive calendar of events.

tanzraumberlin is available as a free magazine at major Berlin cultural institutions, cafés, and restaurants; it is published by Tanzbüro Berlin, with Johanna Withelm serving as editor-in-chief (starting with the May/June 2023 issue). All articles from the magazine can be read and downloaded online here.

The magazine is funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion, as well as by supporting Berlin theaters and cultural institutions.
