Sommerfest.ival at Tanzhalle Wiesenburg

For the sixth time, Tanzhalle Wiesenburg’s Sommerfest.ival is hosting an open weekend that blends art and community. A diverse program featuring dance, performances, live music, short films, soprano singing, installations, and walking tours connects international artists with the local audience, creating opportunities for dialogue, encounters, and shared experiences. A highlight are Isabelle Schad’s Studies on Infinity #4, which are a continuation of her choreographic research on movement and repetition. By using flowing miniatures and loops, a contemplative environment is created wherein issues of resistance, connection, and transformation can be physically experienced. Accompanied by live music, dance emerges as a quiet practice in dialogue with a changing world. (jw)
