Dance, Sound and Multimedia Installation at Radialsystem

An entire weekend revolving around the body, sound and memory: Dance for Nothing (revisited) by Eszter Salamon, the German premiere of her intense engagement with John Cage's Lecture on Nothing – a performance in which body, voice and musical score converge. Ana Lessing Menjibar presents the performance Third Skin, a poetic interplay between body, rhythm and sculptural objects. In addition, she will be unveiling the multimedia archive Layers of Skin, which she has created in close collaboration with dramaturge Isabel Gatzke and explores personal and collective memories of resistance in (post-)fascist contexts. Images, sounds and interviews combine to create a multi-layered space of remembrance. (jw)
