Laboratory of Encounters
An Interdisciplinary Festival at Acker Stadt Palast
In November, PINK YOU FEST! will transform Acker Stadt Palast into a performative laboratory of encounters. To mark their tenth anniversary, MXM – light artist Mirella Brandi and musician MUEP – are inviting almost fifty companions onto the stage to experiment with new forms of artistic collaboration amidst finished works and open processes. Sound, light, and movement coalesce into ever-changing constellations that instantly engage the audience in the experience of the unpredictable. At a time when cultural production worldwide is being confronted with shrinking resources and budget cuts, the festival is thus asserting a utopia of collaboration: art as a collective risk, an act of solidarity, and a shared experiment.
