A Premiere by cie. toula limnaios

The new production by cie. toula limnaios is dedicated to play as a choreographic motif. The piece, titled jeux, is a poetic reflection on the concept of time, on being a child and on the limits of perceiving time as a reflection of eternal order. Inspired by philosophical concepts of Plato, Nietzsche and Bergson, the piece unfolds in a series of tableaux vivants in which past, present and future playfully interweave. The dancers explore the paradox of time in a flowing puzzle that is created and then dissolves: is time a continuous cycle or does every moment offer the chance for a new beginning? jeux is a celebration of creativity, play and the power of artistic imagination to inspire new perspectives.
