The Newly Founded LIFT Tanzkollektiv Presents a World Premiere at Ballhaus Ost

BIOFUCK is a performance that is being staged by the LIFT Tanzkollektiv (Liv Schellander, Irene Giró, Fia/Sophia Neises, Tanja Erhart) at Ballhaus Ost about non-linear biographies and bodies that exist beyond normative ideas. Five crip, queer, and migrant bodies create a moving line that glides through space and resistance, condensing, disintegrating, and reforming. A flow of movement emerges between momentum, friction, and projections, in which desire, loss, longing, anger, and curiosity appear in equal measure. Whitewashed surfaces are transformed into carriers of new images, voices fray and reconnect. BIOFUCK celebrates the open, the unresolved, the pleasure of deviation—and invites us to radically rethink our own perceptions. (jw)
