This summer, the Dance Communication Steering Group, together with its extended team (project management: Sven Seeger, Janne Gregor, Gabriele Reuter; active contributors including Nora Amin, Elisa Ricci and Joy Alpuerto Ritter), is putting a decentralised Dance Communication Centre into practice for the first time through a pilot project funded by the Berlin Project Fund Urban Practice. From mid-July until the end of September, various dance and discourse formats will take place at the partner locations, and the findings of the initial mapping process will be explored and discussed in greater depth. A first kick-off event is planned for 18 July 2021 in Westend as part of the development of Campus Esche (dance workshop for children and young people, young adults: participatory activity), followed by activities in Marzahn (Stadtwerke MZN/Schlesische27), Hellersdorf (NGBK) and Kreuzberg (Wassertorplatz/Mondiale).
