Prager Quadriennale: Five Open Calls

Application deadlines: September 30, 2026 (PQ Publication Cultures)

The Prague Quadrennial is launching calls for proposals for five program areas of its 16th edition, which will take place from June 8 to 17, 2027. The areas are PQ Performance, PQ Performance Space, PQ Studio, PQ Talks, and PQ Publication Cultures. The calls are open to all individuals, collectives, studios, organizations, and institutions worldwide.

PQ Publication Cultures

PQ Publication Cultures highlights the rich variety of publications produced about scenography, performance design, and performance space, while also reflecting on how knowledge in these fields is shared and cultivated. This includes books and journals, as well as a range of other formats and media, and, importantly, the knowledge communities that sustain and transmit this understanding. An important part of this section is the PQ Best Publication Award.
